Our Story
In 1969, a spirited couple named Owen and Louise stood on the courthouse steps in Omaha, Arkansas to chase their dreams. With hope in their hearts and a modest budget, they faced tough competition for an Ozark property. Louise, with her fiery spirit, boldly approached the other bidders, imploring them not to outbid her husband. To their joy, when the auctioneer's hammer fell, they secured the land, which they transformed through hard work and determination into flourishing pastures. Many cherished memories remain for their four children who played by the creek and gathered walnuts while their parents worked the land.
